My friend..

My friend is one of the most beautiful people I have ever met.
She is amazing, after less than a year's friendship she came on Youth Camp with me. And she got a touch from the King, however this still needs more prayer.
Yet what I'm writing this for is not for that reason. It's because I need the power of agreement behind me and Molly.
You see 7 weeks ago she was at the hospital having a check up, it was going like her usual check ups until they found a cyst on her ovary, and told her it may be cancerous. She was booked into another scan 6 weeks later, and a week on from that the cyst is still there and she is needing more scans.
What makes statistics even more scarier from her and her family is that many female memebers of her family have got cancer and she has many other illness that can make the chance of cancer more higher. One of these scary things are the freckles on her lips that can be cancerous.
Please Please Please can you pray that these illness' in Jesus name will be broken from her!

Now the wait...

Finally all the stressful stuff of sorting out University applications is sent! And I thought the stress was going to end there, oh boy I was so wrong!!

I kept changing my mind about three and I didn't know what one to leave out until the last minute, but silly me didn't check whether or not it was all ok before sending it off properly. I then get home showing Mum and there's me going 'OH NO ITS THE WRONG UNIVERSITY!!!'. I wasn't very happy. Anyway I have just rang up and they have let me change it- Thank you Mark for UCAS who did this :) (know idea who he is lol). But it made me happy.

I now have 5 choices that I wanted, each one dotted all over England.
[Whitney you are very welcome to come and live with me :) hehe as I can't come live with you just yet. And yes Cathy I am getting so much from Britney, Sophie, Drake and Gwen thanks for letting me look after them]

I just now have to sit back and wait for the offers to come in, except I am always trying to check if I have any so I'm too and fro from the computer lol.

Thank you for the prayers, I guess teaching is where I'm supposed to be lets just see where about's I will be: an hour away of five hours away by the sea???

Uni's and courses... Argh!!

There are so many and I can't keep my mind fixed on an idea for long! I have now changed my mid from Psychology and Midwifery to Primary teaching.

This is a more realistic idea for me I think lol. And I have found an amazing Uni only an hour away! Which is really good, and it's known as the best for teaching.

Just pray now that I will get my grades that I need and that I will be accepted.

It's scary to think that this time next year I won't be here :( YES Holli and Cathy you will have to find other babysitters lol. But you can still have me in the holidays and if you ever want a day out in whatever town im in then feel free to leave me with the kids :D

Back to school...

What an interesting day.

Ok so, I didn't really have a full day was only doing stuff from 8.45-12.30, and what I mean stuff is collecting timetable and filling out information about myself for application form for uni's. So I had a very easy first day back :)

And I looked smart too lol. We had a rule put in that we were no longer able to wear jeans but we had to wear smart clothes. So I have been shopping (good excuse for a day out) and digging out old smart clothes.

But to top it all of I got offered a group interview today from Waitrose and well we will see where is goes from there :)

My day has been good :D

Ouchie

On my way to my school meeting yesterday I had a rather unfortunate meeting with a bug!! He thought I looked rather yummy and so decided to join me on my arm, whilst inserting something into my arm to draw out blood.. :( It didn't take me long to notice but it was too late.. He got me!

Today I woke up to find out that the bite had gone red and started spreading around my arm not only that but it itches loads :(

It hurts...

Results...

Well I finally got them on Saturday, I was so nervous I didn't want to open them, I was also wondering if Mum had opened them or not as the envelope was only sticky taped down. But I trusted her not to have opened them.

Anyway I got... English Language- D
Sociology- D
General Studies- D
Psychology- E
Maths- U

For those who don't know the English mark scheme :) you know if you have passed and how well you did by a letter an A is the highest and a E is the lowest, but you can get a U and this means you failed.

SO I will be continuing with English Language and Psychology into A2. Resitting some of the papers that I have just done again, hopefully in Psychology and Sociology where I was only two marks off getting a grade higher!! Maths I will have to drop and General Studies is one of those stupid things that no Uni's accept so not too sure what going to do with that as of yet! I will also pick up another AS (what I have just done- year one) in Helath and Social Care.

Got a meeting 9am tomorrow to confirm that :/ haha.

Cornwall :)

Oh man, I absolutely love this place! It is in family tradition to go down every year and I have been down every year of my life except of one.
This year I thought I was going to miss out agian as I didn't go down with my Grandma and Mum as usual but went to Youth Camp instead. But luckily my Grandad and his wife, Tricia, invited me and Emily to go down. So that is where I went two weeks ago for a week! :)

We left Peterborough at 2am!! Yes that early, just so we could miss all the traffic. Well I slept most of the way down to St. Ives, Cornwall and so did Emily, let's hope my Grandad didn't!!! Thank God that Emily wasn't travel sick and that we had a safe journey down.

The weather wasn't that great but it did mean some good pictures. We went down to the beach three times though, although saying that one of the days it was soo windy that the lifeguards had put out the red flag- which meant no surfing (or bodyboarding) :(

With some drives in the car to different places like Falmouth and adventures like pony trecking, we had the essential SHOPPING!!! I must say Cornwall has some of the best shops- not only for ice-creams but for clothes, and guess what God sent the sales our way too!! :D

The drive home was painfully long but getting home to my bed was worth every minute (after sleeping in a tiny single caravan bed!!). I enjoyed myself and I could live there and never get bored (maybe in a lot of debt, but not bored!)

Holidays!!

I know I haven't written on here in a long time but I have been very busy!

I have been...

  • trying to sort out uni's

  • going to watch the Hunter's, Duffy's and Griffith's at William Law sports day
  • trekking kilometers upon kilometers on the Duke of Edingburgh

  • going to Alton Towers Waterpark

  • visiting the local seaside (Hunstanton) for the week

  • worrying about exam results!!

But now all that is over and I have a week free before I go to Cornwall and then come home to get my results.

Here are some of the pictures that Ben got of Sophie and Britney whilst doing their egg and spoon race and running.

Then I was on D of E, where we had an eventful time especially when the other group had to call out the ambulance and air ambulance!! :)

On the way to Alton Towers, we need a toilet stop (or bathroom :p) and whilst in the toilets the girls decided to turn the nozzles on the hand dryers upside down to make thier hair go wild :) good fun!!!

Then next stop was Hunstanton with my Grandma, sister and cousin. Here I went for a walk along the beach every night to watch the sunset :) it was beautiful, every night it was completely different!!

Oh dear...

How silly can you get??

A friend burnt his eye with hot water on Friday and had managed to get through work and get home alright. It was then matters went for the worse, he hadn't been to the hospital as he doesn't like doctors, but he didn't want his eye to get infected. So what does he do... spray it with Dettol, yes the stuff you clean your kitchen with!!

He picked me up and it was then he told me the story. I insisted he clean out his eye with cold water, he didn't see that having Dettol in his eye was a big deal. I finally convinced him into cleaning his eye out, so as soon as we got to the church we headed straight for the kitchen, here we found some communion cups and managed to wash out his eye.

Haha doesn't he look so funny :]

So much to choose from!

For the past month I have been looking at possible University's within the UK. Let's say there are a lot to choose from, and whilst I have only visited four and have one more on Friday, I still haven't got a clue in where to go.

My mind was set on studying on Psychology, then about a month ago I decided I wanted to do Midwifery. But the only down fall now is the grades that they are asking for :[ but I'm sure I will find another way of getting onto the course if not by A Levels.

Anyway from this moment I like the look of York University and Sheffield Hallam's. Today I went to York and whilst I was where and eating my lunch I took some random pictures of the daisies and buttercups.

This buttercup was all alone and it was just surrounded by everything else but other buttercups.

All you need to do in life

This pretty summed it up for me...

Dance, Sing, Love, Live

Why not "Dance like nobody's watching; love like you've never been hurt. Sing like nobody's listening; live like it's heaven on earth." Mark Twain.

Might as well be yourself you only have one life, why be someone your not? Love is the ultimate thing everyone wants to be loved, whether they admit it or not is another matter, so why not love everyone that way you will make someone feel that bit more special. Heaven brings only good, can I bring only good? Nope, but with the help of God I can and I can then make a difference to those who I love and Cherish!

How adorable...

These are two lil Americans who I babysit for, and even with their first attack of headlice they are still the sweetest things ever! I had a lot of fun that night, and there was lot of chocolate syrup and ice-cream about. I even found some up Drake's nose-- Gross! :]

Wow, the journey begins...

This could be a start of a new era, Technology in Hannah's world :] For those who know me well, know that I only really do texting and e-mailing. So this is a whole new thing for me.

There were two reasons of starting this up: 1. The lovely Americans that I have grown to know over the last year. Thanks to Whittney :] (Miss you)
2. My amazing boyfriend, Ben, although he did spend nearly a whole half hour on the phone trying to persuade me, (what he didn't know is that I was already setting one up, and to this day he doesn't know I have an account :p)

Love you all and hope you enjoy. x
