Ouchie

On my way to my school meeting yesterday I had a rather unfortunate meeting with a bug!! He thought I looked rather yummy and so decided to join me on my arm, whilst inserting something into my arm to draw out blood.. :( It didn't take me long to notice but it was too late.. He got me!

Today I woke up to find out that the bite had gone red and started spreading around my arm not only that but it itches loads :(

It hurts...

Results...

Well I finally got them on Saturday, I was so nervous I didn't want to open them, I was also wondering if Mum had opened them or not as the envelope was only sticky taped down. But I trusted her not to have opened them.

Anyway I got... English Language- D
Sociology- D
General Studies- D
Psychology- E
Maths- U

For those who don't know the English mark scheme :) you know if you have passed and how well you did by a letter an A is the highest and a E is the lowest, but you can get a U and this means you failed.

SO I will be continuing with English Language and Psychology into A2. Resitting some of the papers that I have just done again, hopefully in Psychology and Sociology where I was only two marks off getting a grade higher!! Maths I will have to drop and General Studies is one of those stupid things that no Uni's accept so not too sure what going to do with that as of yet! I will also pick up another AS (what I have just done- year one) in Helath and Social Care.

Got a meeting 9am tomorrow to confirm that :/ haha.

Cornwall :)

Oh man, I absolutely love this place! It is in family tradition to go down every year and I have been down every year of my life except of one.
This year I thought I was going to miss out agian as I didn't go down with my Grandma and Mum as usual but went to Youth Camp instead. But luckily my Grandad and his wife, Tricia, invited me and Emily to go down. So that is where I went two weeks ago for a week! :)

We left Peterborough at 2am!! Yes that early, just so we could miss all the traffic. Well I slept most of the way down to St. Ives, Cornwall and so did Emily, let's hope my Grandad didn't!!! Thank God that Emily wasn't travel sick and that we had a safe journey down.

The weather wasn't that great but it did mean some good pictures. We went down to the beach three times though, although saying that one of the days it was soo windy that the lifeguards had put out the red flag- which meant no surfing (or bodyboarding) :(

With some drives in the car to different places like Falmouth and adventures like pony trecking, we had the essential SHOPPING!!! I must say Cornwall has some of the best shops- not only for ice-creams but for clothes, and guess what God sent the sales our way too!! :D

The drive home was painfully long but getting home to my bed was worth every minute (after sleeping in a tiny single caravan bed!!). I enjoyed myself and I could live there and never get bored (maybe in a lot of debt, but not bored!)

Holidays!!

I know I haven't written on here in a long time but I have been very busy!

I have been...

  • trying to sort out uni's

  • going to watch the Hunter's, Duffy's and Griffith's at William Law sports day
  • trekking kilometers upon kilometers on the Duke of Edingburgh

  • going to Alton Towers Waterpark

  • visiting the local seaside (Hunstanton) for the week

  • worrying about exam results!!

But now all that is over and I have a week free before I go to Cornwall and then come home to get my results.

Here are some of the pictures that Ben got of Sophie and Britney whilst doing their egg and spoon race and running.

Then I was on D of E, where we had an eventful time especially when the other group had to call out the ambulance and air ambulance!! :)

On the way to Alton Towers, we need a toilet stop (or bathroom :p) and whilst in the toilets the girls decided to turn the nozzles on the hand dryers upside down to make thier hair go wild :) good fun!!!

Then next stop was Hunstanton with my Grandma, sister and cousin. Here I went for a walk along the beach every night to watch the sunset :) it was beautiful, every night it was completely different!!
